Hanna Tuomisto

Hanna Tuomisto is a botanist whose research focuses on Amazonian rain forests. She has worked especially on the effects of environmental heterogeneity on species composition and species distributions, the use of indicator species and remote sensing to identify and map geo-ecologically different kinds of forest, systematics and evolutionary history of ferns, and methodological questions related to beta diversity.
