Sami Kivelä

Sami Kivelä is an evolutionary biologist and ecologist currently working as an Academy Research Fellow at University of Oulu. His ongoing research focuses on adaptation to urbanized environments as well as the diversity of interspecific interactions in animal communities. Lepidoptera and birds are the empirical study systems, but he uses also the theoretical approach in his research for getting a comprehensive understanding of the studied phenomena.
