CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 2024 Nordic Symposium for Biodiversity Across the Natural and Social Sciences

Applications are now open to participate in the 2024 Nordic Symposium for Biodiversity Across the Natural and Social Sciences, to be held on 22-23 October 2024 in Trondheim, Norway.

Through two days of collaborative discussion, workshops, and writing, participants will together explore one big question: How can the revolution in biodiversity data be harnessed to support research within the diverse environmental- and nature-related social sciences?

Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations to share the outputs of our discussions during the Symposium.

Eligibility:

You conduct research in the social or natural sciences, focused on biodiversity and/or nature

You are interested in interdisciplinary engagement across natural and social sciences

You are based in the Nordic region

All career stages and career paths, in and out of academia, are very welcome to apply

Cost-free participation: Thanks to the support of the Nordic Board for Wildlife Research, NTNU, SLU, and the University of Iceland, we are thrilled to be able to offer attendance at no cost and to offer each participant a stipend (up to €500) to cover costs associated with participating.
