Grant report: 4th Meeting for Protistology in the Nordics
The 4th meeting for Protistology in the Nordics was held for the first time in Finland on 12-13 May 2025 in Jyväskylä. The meeting was open to all studying protists and had a special focus on early career researchers with a half day training session on “Making the most of supervision”. There were altogether 25 participants registered from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Czech Republic, including undergraduate and doctoral students as well as postdoctoral and senior researchers. Thanks to support from Nordic Society Oikos, meetings such as ours can provide a friendly, supportive, and accessible platform for research networking and career development in the Nordic region.
