Per Lundberg is a theoretical ecologist and evolutionary biologist, and a professor of theoretical ecology at Lund University. He has a diverse scientific background ranging from the history and philosophy of science to behavioural ecology, stochastic processes in ecological systems, and ecological and evolutionary diversification. His current research is focused on the theory of adaptive radiations and on niche theory. He has long experience from the scientific publishing world and has been editor and on the editorial board for many international biology journals. He was the editor-in-chief for Oikos 2004-2010.
