Open PhD position for a project combining the evolutionary ecology of butterflies in cities and biology education as a part of an Academy of Finland Fellowship to Matthew Nielsen. This position will be co-advised by Pauliina Rautio (University of Oulu) and Marjo Saastamoinen (University of Helsinki).

The project will involve field experiments to test the adaptive benefits of urban evolution, and to conduct these experiments, we will work with school classes in and around Helsinki.

Because of the work with local schools, fluency in Finnish is required.
