Anssi Karvonen

Anssi Karvonen's research focuses on interactions among different parasite species and their genetically distinct genotypes and strains to answer the question why some parasites and co-infections are more harmful than others. This has direct relevance for prevention of parasitic infections, for example, in aquaculture.
