Oikos 2023 (31 January - 1 February) will take place in Göteborg

The meetings provide an opportunity for Swedish ecologists to meet and discuss their work. The meetings also provide a broad overview of current Swedish ecological research.

The first Oikos meeting was held in Uppsala 1983. Since then meetings have been held in February each year, with ecology departments in Sweden rotating as hosts. Since 2014, every second meeting is a Nordic meeting which alternates between the five Nordic countries.
