A student-initiated project at the University of Akureyri is looking for participants in a survey to gather data on awareness and opinions regarding waste water treatment in Iceland to inform decision makers.

13-15 February 2023 the 6th conference of the Norwegian Ecological Society (OIKOS) will be held in Ås. The theme of the conference is ”Ecology on a used planet”.

Organized by Oikos Finland together with The Forum for Environmental Information and the University of Helsinki, the panel discussed what role ecological knowledge has in decision making processes in society in an age where everyone from businesses to government agencies have to take the climate and biodiversity crises into account.
